Summer Skin Savers – Part III

17 July, 2014 | posted by Carly Poore

If there is one essential skin saver this summer, it is sunscreen! From ageing to melanoma, sun exposure can have serious consequences. Protecting yourself is easy with Epionce.

The best defense is a good offense, and defending skin against summer damage incorporates a good sunscreen. Epionce Ultra Shield SPF 50 contain broad spectrum protection against UVA (cancer-causing) and UVB (burning) rays. Both products provide physical, chemical, and biological blocks for complete coverage.

If  the extent of your outdoor activity is a morning commute, the skin is still exposed to UVA and UVB rays. The truth is Ultra Violet radiation can penetrate on a cloudy day and through windows of a car or office.

Even with the best product, it’s important to know how to properly use sunscreen. Always apply 20-30 minutes before going outside, and reapply every few hours—especially when in the water. Don’t forget the ears, back of the neck, back of the legs, and top of the head if balding.

Many sunscreens do not offer the added benefit of skin care like Epionce. Safflower and Meadowfoam found in Ultra Shield SPF 50 are anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-ageing to increase firmness and reduce redness and breakout.

Be sure to make sunscreen a key part of your daily regime for beautiful skin many seasons to come.
